I’m an illustrator with a background as a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer.

I’ve always sketched as part of a design process to generate and resolve ideas and to quickly get across how an idea might look and feel. Increasingly over the past 25 years or so I’ve been involved with creating sketches, illustrations and visuals for others.

I create both very quick concept sketches, or alternatively accurate views from detailed technical information. Often I’ll create a 3d model to use as a framework and so various views can be explored.

Sometimes I’m asked to draw on my experience with design and just invent something. I’ve provided illustrations for leading Landscape Architects, Urban designers, Architects, Interior designers, Garden designers, Property developers and others, for projects in the UK and around the world. Sketches have featured in design journals, in press releases, as illustrations for public engagement and planning applications and as promotional material.
