My background is in both visual arts and design. For me, sketching has always been the intuitive way of developing ideas and then showing how an idea might look and feel.
As an illustrator I’m often asked to conjure a world from a vague early brief, or – alternatively – to provide an accurate visualisation from detailed technical information. I can work with the design process by quickly visualising ideas as they emerge. Often I mock up a 3d model of a site so the view is less of a guess and so various viewpoints can be explored.
As well as a professional training in illustration, I’m a chartered Landscape Architect and Urban Designer so I have good understanding of built environment design stages.
I’ve provided illustrations for leading Landscape Architects, Urban designers, Architects, Interior designers, Garden designers, developers and others.
